NC Beer Month - NoDa Tap Takeover! Plus Music & Food

  • 580 Craft Beer

NC Beer Month is coming to an end, so lets go out with a bang!  We will be having a Tap Takeover with NoDa Brewing from Charlotte, NC.  Plus music provided by John Wells and Chatham Barbecue serving up some grub.

The Taplist includes:

Hop Drop 'n Roll (7.2%)

For us this is where it all started! The rich golden color comes from a blend of English and American base malts accented with substantial amounts of Victory and Wheat malt. The American citrus hops take center stage with emphasis on late boil additions of Citra and Amarillo. This signature ale is hopped before, during, and after the boil!

Par 4 (4.0%)

Stay in the zone with a low ABV beer that still packs robust flavor and mouthfeel. Brewed with nearly four pounds of hops per barrel and mashed with oats, Par 4 has a smooth and balanced body to even out the payload delivered by a bouquet of select West Coast hops.

Jam Session (5.1%)

Prepare to get your Jam on! Our sessionable pale ale offers you amazing hop and malt character without sacrificing drinkability. The combination of English and American malts balance bright hop notes from Centennial, Simcoe and Citra, all without wreaking your palate

Premium Roast Coffee Stout (5.5%)

Premium Roast is a dark, rich, and roasty coffee stout offering. This 5% American Stout is quite drinkable and has its natural roasty character accented by the addition of our own custom coffee blend from Charlotte's own Parliament Coffee Roasters. The coffee blend consists of 50% Ethiopian beans and 50% Columbian beans. While the Columbian variety offers a rich, full bodied coffee note, the Ethiopian beans accent the coffee character with bright berry notes. We added a total of 70 lbs of this blend to the beer and are more than happy with how the full coffee flavor fills out the roasty, thick stout.

CAVU (4.6%)

Inspired by Todd’s experience as a pilot, CAVU (Ceiling And Visibility Unlimited) is a flight term used to describe clear skies or ideal conditions. We hope you have the same outlook during the warm summer months while sipping on this light-colored and brisk ale that presents itself with hints of tropical fruit and citrus notes from our west coast hops, then finishes clean and bright…like a cool breeze on a clear summer day.

Plus we will also be tapping some additional unique kegs from around NC.  These kegs will be announced before the event.  Come out and enjoy some of the best NC has to offer!
